An open stair case takes you up to the large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and French doors out on to your private deck overlooking the garden.
The sumptuous and spacious bathroom has a double shower, and a double ended bath.
There is oak flooring throughout with underfloor heating to keep you snug. A solar panel helps heat hot water.
The gardens and land at Glan yr Afon are free for you to use as your own. The 2.5 acre garden with the river Troyddyn running through, has several different areas, including formal vegetable garden, orchard, and riverside walk, all with seats for guests to rest a while.
Here at Felin Fach at Glan yr Afon, we welcome well behaved dogs! Megan our 2 year old Springer Spaniel is very friendly and enjoys sharing her domain. If you plan to bring more than one dog it would be good to know so either let us know direct or via our agents Wales Holidays-see the Availability and Prices page. In addition to our 27 acres there are walks direct from the door of Felin Fach and a short drive away to keep even the most energetic hound fully exercised. Owners do need to be aware that the property is not fully fenced and for some of the time there are about 100 ewes and 3 rams grazing the fields.
In addition to a warm welcome we provide:
- a carton of milk
- home-made jam and muffins
- eggs from our own free-range hens
- fresh flowers from the garden in the living room and bedroom
- shower and bath toiletries
- crisp white bed linen and lots of big fluffy towels
At Christmas we decorate the living room and put up a Christmas tree.
Do tell us if you are visiting to celebrate a special occasion, a birthday, anniversary or wedding – we will make it even more special for you.
